Home Team: Cincinnati Bengals
Boy, what a difference three weeks makes in the NFL. Who would’ve thought that the Buffalo Bills would be 3-0 at this point, with one of their wins being a comeback by outgunning Tom Brady and the Pats? Ryan Fitzpatrick has emerged as a top 10 quarterback and a must start every week. Fitzpatrick and the Bills offense continue its onslaught, as it carves up the Bengals defense this week. Fitz throws for 325 and 3 touchdowns, with 2 going to Stevie Johnson (along with his 110 receiving yards) and the other touchdown going to the emerging David Nelson (he’ll grab a solid 85 yards as well). Fred Jackson does some damage on the ground with 100 yards rushing and a score.
Oh, the Bengals – I’m not a drug kingpin, but if I’m running a drug operation out of my house, I sure as hell would find a more clever way of getting my contraband than through the mail. Really? You’re making millions of dollars a year and you can’t give somebody some cash to drive the stuff to you? It boggles the mind. As you can see, this interests me more than the Bengals on the field. Ok – Andy Dalton throws for 250 yards and 2 scores. As luck would have it, both of these scores go to A.J. Green, as he breaks out this week with 125 receiving yards as well. Cedric Benson runs for 100 yards and a touchdown, and celebrates the score by pretending the pylon is a joint and tries to light it with the football.
