Home team: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Falcons offense have faced two formidable defenses in the first two games. The first game was a struggle and the second came with mixed success. The difference was the Falcons were playing at home against the Philadelphia Eagles. Being in a dome can be quite advantageous. This week the Falcons are back outdoors, however, the Buccaneers defense is not as good as Chicago Bears. We see a big game from Michael Turner, who saw the tape of Adrian Peterson running at will. We got Turner with 100-yards rushing and 2-touchdowns. The Falcons will rely on the ground game with Matt Ryan still ailing from big hits. The Falcons passing game, gets a bit grounded on the Tampa grass. We see one Matt Ryan passing touchdown going to Roddy White.

The Bucs are a hard team to figure out. They have a big bruising, talented back, but their head coach is too eager to turn the keys over to a shotgun spread formation once an opposing team scores on them. Raheem Morris jabs aside, we see the Buccaneers ground game making an impact too. LeGarrette Blount had 13-carries last week. We seem him going over 15 this week as the game should be more of a grind. We’ll give Blount 65-yards and a touchdown. Josh Freeman makes plays, but the Buccaneers seem intent on making him a high volume passer, without losing the efficiency. Future proofing, possibly with games with New Orleans on the horizon? The plight is similar to how the Falcons want Ryan to evolve too. He’ll handle the 25-plus passing attempts OK here as Mike Williams and Arrelious Benn both catch touchdown scores.
