Chargers Projected Passing, Receiving, and Rushing Touchdowns
This could be the best start for a Norv Turner team in a while. Don’t see a lot of running room for the Chargers, but we are giving Mike Tolbert a score. The Vikings run defense will start the season with neither Pat or Kevin Williams. Philip Rivers will have to be patient against the Vikings cover 2 defense. The guy who helps him stay patient and move the chains is Antonio Gates. The big tight end will catch a touchdown to go with a 100-yard receiving game. Vincent Jackson looks primed to rock from the opening game as he also catches a touchdown, giving Rivers two for the day.
Vikings Projected Passing, Receiving, and Rushing Touchdowns
Thankfully for the Vikings, this will not be the best we see of them from a fantasy standpoint. We think Donovan will have a better 2011 season, but he should struggle from the onset versus an underrated Chargers defense. We project only one score for the Vikings and it will come from it’s premier talent, Adrian Peterson. Peterson will have close to a 100-yard game, and the team’s lone touchdown.
