Home team: Indianapolis Colts
The Steelers get to play another defenseless team after mauling the Seahawks in week 2. The only thing that could hurt them is complacency and bad habits. When you play bad teams, you can get away with sloppiness. With the offensive line banged up, it’ll be interesting to see how dominant the Steelers will be against the Colts. We still project the Steelers running the ball at will. Look for Mendenhall to have his first multi-touchdown game of the year. We also have a sleeper score by Isaac Redman. Meanwhile Big Ben, takes a back seat here and connects on one score, to Mike Wallace who’s making big plays AND racking up the catches, 16 in two games. Remember Wallace had 60-catches in all of 2010!
The Colts defense has been put in bad positions by turnovers. We’ll see the Colts try to build off last week’s rushing efforts of Delone Carter and Joseph Addai, but hope for better red zone results. We’ll give a score to Joseph Addai, but until Kerry Collins looks good, it’s hard to predict any more rushing touchdowns or passing touchdowns for this week.
