Home team: Dallas Cowboys
This was going to be a big match-up, but now all the sub plots will be based around who is suiting up for the Cowboys. They are the walking wounded and it’ll be interesting to see how much momentum they can sustain, after the big comeback against the Niners last week. Romo will probably be starting, but with a limited arsenal, we see a more relaxed Romo who throws around 270 and a touchdown. The score going to Jason Witten, the only receiving weapon, running at close to full strength. Hearing good things about DeMarco Murray and Choice’s only flaw, his play is too steady, to be considered a Cowboy (he needs to mix a 90-yard run one play, then fumble in a crucial situation next). The Skins defense is rejuvenated by rookie Ryan Kerrigan and improvements in the secondary. We do see a sleeper score by ho-hum, Tashard Choice.
Two for two on multi-touchdown games for Rex Grossman. One for two for multi-interception game for Rex Grossman. The Cowboys secondary got shredded by two quarterbacks named Sanchez and Alex Smith. We See Grossman getting his third straight multi-touchdown game. One to Cowboy killer, Santana Moss and the other to new fantasy fav, Fred Davis. On the ground, the Redskins will face a fairly stiff front seven. So far the ‘Boys have allowed just under 60-yards a game rushing. We see a combo of Hightower and Helu generally getting stymied. However, the Washington Redskins are good at sticking with the run overall, so we’re going to give a score to Hightower.
