CUT BAIT – WEEK 11

James Starks, Packers -– Just doesn’t score touchdowns. Only 1 total touchdown in the 2011 regular season thus far, improving on the 0 he had in last season’s regular season. Meanwhile, fellow backfield mate, John Kuhn, has 4 total touchdowns. You can find a consistent 5-6 point running back on the waiver wire now, where James Starks should be.

Peyton Hillis, Browns -– When’s he coming back? With his luck (Madden curse), he’ll return just in time to play the Steelers in week 14 and the Ravens in week 16. Puke.

Sidney Rice, Seahawks -– He’s had 3 games with more than 7 fantasy points out of 7 games played. But his single game season high fantasy point total is 13. Not much boom in a boom or bust receiver. Owned in 91% of ESPN leagues. Why?

Owen Daniels, Texans -– I don’t dislike Owen Daniels, but every year in the fantasy drafts, I roll my eyes in the 8th or 9th round when I hear, “You got Daniels, that’s a good pick!” Then I shake my head with a slight grin around week 11 or 12, when I see him on the waiver wire. Do the Texans even pass the football?

All Colts receivers – These guys are a collection of James Starks. The Colts have only scored 7 passing touchdowns, two away from the league worst. Garcon, Wayne, Dallas Clark, Tamme, Collie have all seen their fantasy value hit rock bottom without Peyton Manning.

I respectfully disagree with the opinions of cutting bait on Sidney Rice and Owen Daniels. Do the Texans pass…pffft! Wait until week 12 bro. Wait until week 12. 2 words: Andre Johnson.

How about cutting bait on the Lions D? Their record is going to get ugly most of the rest of the way. Or the Giants D? Ishy. Or maybe trade Gore now if you can…
