Indianapolis Colts (0-5) at Cincinnati Bengals (3-2)
Gametime: 1:00 PM Eastern Sunday
A fantasy delight this is not, but there may be some gems in dem dare hills. Pierre Garcon has been very impressive over the past few weeks and there is no reason to think that this will stop anytime soon. Another interesting play could be Delone Carter. If Addai is ruled out, I am interested to see how this tub does. He is a short, stocky runner, but has a lot of hype around him. Let’s see if he can live up to it. With both of these players looking to have big days, I think this re-opens the door for Clark & Wayne to get back to what they have done so well for so many years. I’m giving scores to Garcon, and old favs Dallas Clark and Reggie Wayne. Painter has another solid fantasy game. Overall, I think the Colts have a fine day and get their first W of the year. Tough “Luck” for not remaining winless.
Although the Bengals will lose this game, I do think they have a few gamers worth mentioning. Cedric Benson, A.J. Green, Jermaine Gresham, & their defense are at the top of the list. If Benson is able to stay out of the clanker for one more week, he should be started with complete trust. If Blount can run all over the Colts’ D, then Benson should be able to put up respectable numbers. Green, like that of his fellow rookie mate Julio Jones, has had a fine season. He should continue down his usual path this week. Gresham is a sneaky play. He has been quietly putting together a fine year and in the random event he is still available in your league, grab him now. Giving scores to Benson on the ground and A.J. Green in the air. Finally, although I think the Colts win this game, I do expect a few TOs from the Bengals D. They have managed to keep most games close for their rookie QB Dalton and they should do the same this week.
