Carolina Panthers (1-4) at  Atlanta Falcons  (2-3)

Gametime: 1:00 PM Eastern Sunday

Panthers vs. Falcons is a must win game for Atlanta.  Coming off a loss to Green Bay, they don’t want to drop any further below the 500 mark.  It will be a tough task against a snake bittenCarolinateam that should have a few more wins than their record shows.  Cam Newton is the real deal.  I don’t know how many wins Carolina will end up with, but they are going to scare the crap out of every team they face this year.

Both defenses are mediocre at best, so expect big games from both Cam Newton and Matt Ryan.  I see 300+ yards for both quarterbacks.  Newton will hit Steve Smith twice and find Greg Olson once.  Ryan hooks up with Roddy White and threads a TD pass to Tony Gonzalez as well.  DeAngelo Williams and Michael Turner both run for over 100 yards and score.  It will be a tight game and Carolina finally pulls one out in the end with a late field goal.
