St. Louis Rams (0-4) at Green Bay Packers (5-0)
Gametime: 1:00 PM Eastern Sunday
A Rams-Packers match-up sounded intriguing before the season started. An up-and-coming Rams team, led by an ever improving Sam Bradford, against the champs from Green Bay, and all-Universe QB Aaron Rodgers. Things have changed. Sam Bradford is still climbing the ladder of good to great quarterbacks, but his team is injury riddled. In the meantime, the Packers and Rodgers are firing on all cylinders and have weapons galore. There are a few concerns about the injuries on the Green Bay offensive line, but it seems like they can plug anybody in the lineup, and they will give Rodgers 10 minutes to throw the ball.
Rodgers throws for 375 yards and four touchdowns to Jennings, Nelson (he gets some love this week) and two to Finley. James Starks gets into the action with a rushing score.
Sam Bradford will do his best with 300 yards and a score to Isaac Bruce (we kid, we kid – giving the score to Danario Alexander) or whoever they line up this week, but it won’t be enough, as the Rams run into a buzz saw at Lambeau. We’ll also give Steven Jackson a rushing score as the Pack defense has looked vulnerable in recent weeks.
