Home team: New Orleans Saints
If you have Saints and Texans on your team, please start them. Drew Brees and Matt Schaub will both go for 350-yards and 4-touchdowns. Brees has so many targets to choose from – this week he hits Robert Meacham, Devery Henderson and Lance Moore twice with his scores; with Moore going over the century mark in receiving yards. Schaub will have a big day hooking up with Andre Johnson, with Johnson grabbing 9 balls for 150-yards and two scores. Owen Daniels gets into the action by grabbing Schaub’s other touchdown, along with 90-yards.
Both teams will try to establish the run: the Saints with Mark Ingram and the Texans with Ben Tate/Arian Foster. I see Ingram gaining 85 yards and finding the end zone this week. Tate/Foster will fair a little better with a combined 110-yards and Foster getting the score if he starts.
In a game that features two high powered offenses, it usually comes down to defense/special teams at the end. The Saints defense makes more plays than the Texans to pull out the win.
