For the first several weeks, the Tennessee Titans led the league in an obscure statistic, tight end touchdowns allowed, with 7. It presented a great opportunity for those savvy fantasy football owners who were always looking for an edge. However the last touchdown given up by the Titans was to Kyle Rudolph of the Minnesota Vikings in week 5. Since then a few teams seem primed to overtake that figure. The Denver Broncos already have with 8 touchdowns allowed, the Redskins have allowed 7, the Patriots and the Jets have allowed 6, and their are a host of teams that have allowed 5.

In week 10, the NFL saw its season high in touchdowns allowed for tight ends with 14. What drove that score were 3 multi tight end touchdown games. Based on trending, we predict strong week 11 performances from Antonio Gates, Brent Celek, Jimmy Graham, and Greg Olsen. Some sneaky bye week plays: Dwayne Allen, Jermaine Gresham, Brandon Pettigrew, Jermichael Finley, and Robert Housler.
