There are 7 starting fantasy running backs with matchups against defenses who have allowed 10 or more rushing touchdowns. So who should be safe bets for a touchdown this week (we emphasize ‘bet’ as fantasy football is all about chance)?

Vick Ballard plays the Bills who have allowed league high 16 touchdowns.

On the other side of the field both CJ Spiller and Fred Jackson have a nice matchup too, against the Colts (12 rushing touchdowns allowed).

At home, the ‘Lawfirm’, Benjarvus Green-Ellis should build on last week’s nice performance and pick up a score here against the Raiders who have allowed 14 rushing scores.

After a very slow start to the season, Chris Johnson has showed fantasy football owners why he is a prolific back. He has a great matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars who also have allowed 14 rushing touchdowns (keep in mind – they allowed none against the Texans last week!) on the season.

Beanie Wells returns to the Arizona Cardinals to take on the St. Louis Rams. If he doesn’t suffer a setback, he or perhaps La’Rod Stephens-Howling should stand a good chance to record a rushing score. The Rams have allowed 12 rushing touchdowns.

The Atlanta Falcons and Baltimore Ravens are birds of a feather on this statistic, allowing exactly 10 rushing touchdowns. This means both home field plays, Doug Martin and Ryan Mathews, have the odds in their favor to turn in a touchdown or two.
