Thee rivalry game of the week, Patriots and Jets also got a whole lot of fantasy football production from the tight end position. The three tight ends we listed for that game compiled 20 receptions, 291 yards, and 3 touchdowns. We didn’t list Aaron Hernandez, but he was productive with 5 catches and 54 yards. Why is this significant? It is becoming more and more apparent both defenses cannot defend the tight end very well. After week 7, the Patriots and Jets have allowed 5 touchdowns each to the position. What does that mean? It mean’s Dolphins Anthony Fasano might not be a bad bye week fill-in for the second half of the season. They play the Jets this weekend, have 2 games left against the Patriots, and a matchup against the Titans in week 10.
