Teams Giving up Touchdowns to Tight Ends in Week 8

Bill Seng November 4, 2012 0

With 5 games left in most fantasy football regular seasons, the tight end position remains a complex one. This week the position maintains fantasy scoring touchdowns at 8, little variation compared to past weeks (8-10). What is standing out are individual players underperforming and overperforming. Since writing a post about how how Rob Gronkowski has been marginalized in the Patriots offense, he has had his second straight multi-touchdown game, in turn making the Patriots offense elite again (and making this writer eat his words). Meanwhile the poster boy for overperforming is Heath Miller whose average draft position was somewhere south of the 9th round, depending on what format you play in. He currently is second  in fantasy scoring to Rob Gronkowski, also trailing to him in touchdowns scored 7 to 6.
